Jisoo Jang, MS, PA-C

Jisoo Jang is a board-certified physician assistant (PA) specializing in rheumatology. She was born in South Korea and immigrated to the United States with her family when she was four years old. Since then, she has resided in Northern Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia. During her time at VCU, she assisted as a biology preceptor. She also participated in volunteer activities as a mentor at local middle schools and as a patient care volunteer at a hospital. Before attending PA school, she grew her knowledge and experience in medicine as a medical scribe and a certified nursing assistant.

Jisoo completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Mary Baldwin University in Fishersville, Virginia. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants.

Jisoo has a strong passion for rheumatology and finds great fulfillment in helping patients manage chronic autoimmune conditions. She is also fluent in Korean, which enables her to communicate effectively with a diverse range of patients in Northern Virginia and Maryland.

In her free time, she enjoys trying new foods at restaurants and cafes, as well as spending time with her family and friends.

Jisoo works with Dr. Grace Ahn at ARA’s Fairfax and Rockville 5 clinics.
