ARA physicians participate with Medicare and several other insurance plans. Participation varies as changes occur within the insurance industry. Please check with our receptionists to confirm if we participate with your insurance plan.
For your convenience, we will file your primary insurance claims if you provide us with the correct billing information. We ask you to pay the deductible, co-insurance, or co-payment at the time of service. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, cash, and checks.

Phreesia Online Payments gives you the flexibility to pay your balances at home or on the go. Online Payments is a quick, easy, and secure solution for submitting payments.
Same Day Cancel/No-Show Charge
As of July 5, 2022, and thereafter, ARA will assess fees for missed appointments. There is a $100 fee for new patient appointments and a $25 charge for follow-up patient appointments. Appointment changes, including rescheduling or canceling an appointment must occur during ARA’s business hours, which are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. If an appointment is canceled after hours for the next business day, it will be subject to a cancellation fee.
Fees are assessed for the following reasons:
- Same-day cancellation of an appointment
- Cancellation of an appointment after hours on ARA’s business day before the appointment (this includes appointment reminder cancellations, messages left on voicemails, or with the answering service).
- Failure to arrive to a scheduled appointment (no-show)
Patients will be unable to schedule a new appointment until payment is made. Additionally, ARA reserves the right to cancel future appointments if payment is not made in advance.
Our providers’ appointment schedules are full. When an appointment time is reserved specifically for you and we are not given appropriate notice of your cancellation, we are unable to offer another patient the opportunity to be scheduled. We understand that emergencies arise, and therefore if the appointment is canceled in advance, you will not be charged.

Your provider is not involved in administrative policies and enforcement and will be unable to waive these charges for you.
