Norhan Abdalla, MMS,PA-C

Norhan Abdalla is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in rheumatology. She was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, and Biochemistry from Towson University. Prior to attending PA school, she was an Associate Bioprocess Specialist where she manufactured vaccines. She also worked as a full-time dermatology and pediatric medical assistant and conducted clinical research at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma. 

Norhan completed her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Frostburg State University in Hagerstown, Maryland. While in PA school, she served as Vice President on the board of the PA Student Society and was involved in the Opioid Response Program. Norhan is a current member of several professional societies, including the American College of Rheumatology and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Norhan has a strong passion for rheumatology and focuses on empowering patients to manage their autoimmune diseases and improve their quality of life. She is also fluent in Arabic.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, discovering new coffee shops, and spending time with her friends and family.

Norhan works with Dr. ElTaraboulsi seeing patients at the Rockville 2 Location.
