Rheumatic or musculoskeletal conditions comprise over 200 diseases and syndromes, which are usually progressive and associated with pain. These conditions can affect the joints, connective tissue, cartilage, and tendons. Many of these conditions that are considered autoimmune diseases, which arise from an abnormal immune response of the body against it’s own tissues.
Over 46 million people in the United States are living with some sort of rheumatic disease that has been found to be the most common cause of reduced mobility.

Our providers do not specialize in the treatment of the following conditions: chronic Lyme disease, post-covid syndrome, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, postural orthostatic tachycardic syndrome (POTS), chronic pain syndrome, myalgic encephalitis (chronic fatigue syndrome), or mast cell activation syndrome. In addition, many chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic myofascial pain, osteopenia, and mild osteoporosis do not generally require the long-term services of our providers. However, some of these conditions can be addressed through physical therapy.
