FDA Approves and Authorizes Updated mRNA COVID-19 Vaccines to Better Protect Against Currently Circulating Variants | FDA. The physicians of ARA recommend everyone ages 6 months and older get the updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect against serious illness. At this time, ARA does not have the new vaccine, and we do not know when or if we will have it available. We recommend that you contact your local pharmacy about availability.
As of May 1, 2023, masks are optional at all ARA offices. We strongly recommend you stay home if you have an active respiratory infection. If you are recovering from a recent infection or may have been exposed to one, we advise you to wear a mask in the office.
