Alyssa M. Bosso, MD, FACP, FACR

Dr. Alyssa M. Bosso was born and raised in Clarkstown, New York, located in the Hudson Valley Region. She graduated with honors from Georgetown University and received an academic merit scholarship to attend Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. Following residency, she moved to Charlottesville, Virginia for fellowship training in Rheumatology at the University of Virginia.

During her training, Dr. Bosso presented her research on Systemic Sclerosis at both the DC Rheumatism Society and the American College of Rheumatology’s national meeting. She received recognition for her oral presentation in the Virginia Society of Rheumatology’s Thieves Market competition. Additionally, she has published a manuscript detailing atypical presentations of EGPA vasculitis. Dr. Bosso is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, Phi Beta Kappa, and Alpha Omega Alpha.

Dr. Bosso treats all rheumatologic conditions, with a particular interest in rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, systemic sclerosis, and vasculitis. She resides in Frederick, Maryland, with her husband and their cat, Meoimi. In her free time, Dr. Bosso enjoys attending live music events, traveling, and hiking.

Dr. Bosso sees patients aged 18 and older at the Frederick office of ARA.
